Course Outline: This course is designed to cover all the features of the 2010 Project Web App (PWA) likely to be used by Executives. There is a specific emphasis on reporting and top level programme review features. The delegate will understand how to view programmes and projects via Web Access, and see how they can be reported on by using project attributes and categories. Through Web Access, the delegate can also view Enterprise project data via Data Analysis views, thus enhancing his/her understanding of the effect of individual projects on the overall database of projects. In conjunction with functionality training, labs are used to provide each delegate with hands-on experience.
Who Should Attend: Executives & Stakeholders who need to view project, programme and portfolio information, resource capacity and loading data, and graphical reports, as well as being able to make key decisions using this data. No previous experience is assumed or is necessary.
Course Content: How data is exchanged between Microsoft Project Professional 2010, Project Server and viewed in the PWA Browser. How users/stakeholders without Microsoft Project 2010 can interact with the Project Server database. The features of PWA that are most helpful in allowing Executives and key stakeholders to understand the progress and status of programmes and projects, current portfolio status, and in understanding how to use reports, dashboards and business intelligence from the system. A more general overview of the Project Server solution will be provided so Executives can understand the interaction required by other users.
